Responsibilities Monitor store premises using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and prevent theft or vandalism. Conduct thorough criminal investigations related to theft, fraud, or other security incidents by gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents and support legal proceedings. Perform loss prevention audits, inventory checks, and security patrols to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Write detailed incident reports documenting suspicious activities, investigations, and outcomes clearly and accurately. Manage conflict situations professionally by de-escalating disputes between customers or staff while maintaining safety. Assist in training team members on security procedures, conflict management, and loss prevention techniques. Skills Strong background in law enforcement or security operations with experience in surveillance techniques. Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security technology tools. Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and report writing standards. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively. Ability to analyze situations quickly, make sound decisions, and act decisively under pressure. Effective communication skills for collaborating with law enforcement, team members, and customers. Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accurate records of incidents and investigations.
