AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Guard card is required. A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
