Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for supporting Faber location level efforts to prevent theft, reduce shrink, enforce proper use of POS system and ensure a safe environment for employees and customers. This role focuses on monitoring daily operations, identifying risks, and enforcing company policies within retail and food & beverage locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze POS transactions, exception reports, and audit logs to identify suspicious activity and potential loss. Support internal investigations related to cash handling, refunds, voids, deletions, and employee compliance using our POS systems and surveillance tools. Perform routine audits, including cash counts, inventory checks, and compliance reviews. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Work closely with store management to address shrink and operational risks. Monitor and review surveillance footage to support investigations and verify incidents. Investigate employee compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and operational standards. Identify patterns of fraud, theft, shrink, or policy violations across locations. Investigating incidents, reviewing security footage, and writing detailed reports for management or law enforcement. Prepare detailed investigation reports, findings, and recommendations for management and HR. Maintain confidential records of investigations and ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Partner with Operations, HR, Payroll, and IT to resolve incidents and implement corrective actions. Track recurring issues and recommend process improvements to minimize loss. Assist in developing and updating loss prevention policies, SOPs, and compliance procedures. Support internal audits and follow-up on action plans to ensure resolution.

Qualifications:

College diploma or equivalent required. Previous retail or food & beverage experience preferred. Prior loss prevention or security experience is a plus. Understanding of cash handling and store operations.

Working Conditions:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods May require working nights, weekends, and holidays. Fast-paced retail and/or food service environment

Must Have:

Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) and POS Systems Knowledge of shrink reduction strategies 3-5 years of experience

Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
