Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy legal team handling civil and commercial disputes in Phoenix, Arizona. This opportunity is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment, brings strong organizational judgment, and can manage matters from initial filings through trial preparation. The role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to case strategy, document management, and deadline coordination while working alongside attorneys on a broad range of litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys through all phases of civil and commercial litigation, from case intake through resolution.
  • Prepare, organize, and file pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate discovery activities by managing document production, tracking requests, and assisting with responses.
  • Maintain case files and update case management systems to ensure records remain complete and accessible.
  • Monitor court deadlines, hearing dates, and litigation calendars to help keep matters on schedule.
  • Assist with trial preparation by assembling exhibits, witness materials, binders, and other case-related documents.
  • Conduct administrative and procedural support tasks that help attorneys manage active caseloads efficiently. Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a litigation paralegal role, preferably within civil or commercial litigation.
  • Practical knowledge of discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production.
  • Familiarity with trial preparation and the coordination of materials needed for hearings and trial proceedings.
  • Experience using case management software to organize files, deadlines, and matter-related information.
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, docket management, and court-driven deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-sensitive environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills supported by sound administrative capabilities.
