Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Essential Duties:
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals across a variety of legal matters. Prepare, format, proofread, and distribute legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Assist with contract intake, tracking, routing, execution, and filing in the contract management system. Coordinate signatures and manage document execution using electronic signature platforms. Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and records in accordance with department procedures. Assist with litigation and claim tracking within the litigation management system. Process and track legal invoices, including outside counsel and vendor billing, and assist with budget tracking and reporting. Manage the intake and triage of legal requests from corporate departments and field personnel and coordinate prompt assignment to the appropriate legal team member for review and response. Communicate with internal business teams regarding document status, requests, and process questions. Support legal operations by maintaining systems accuracy, improving workflows, and assisting with special projects.Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in an administrative, legal assistant, or office support role (law firm or in-house experience preferred). Associate or bachelor's degree (business-related preferred). Experience supporting litigation matters and/or legal invoicing strongly preferred. Notary Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools Experience using contract management, document management, e-signature, and legal billing systems preferred Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Benefits & Other Compensation:
