Litigation Legal Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents and pleadings
- Manage court filings through ECF systems
- Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and docket reports
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings
- Prepare hearing and deposition binders
- Process legal correspondence, court notices, and incoming communications
- Manage document organization through electronic filing systems
- Assist with billing, time entry review, and administrative support
- Conduct legal research and obtain court records as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role
- Experience with ECF filings and litigation support
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent proofreading and document management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional communication and organizational skills
