About the Role A growing Tucson-based financial services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support its in-house legal and corporate operations function. The Paralegal reports to in-house counsel and provides administrative and organizational support across litigation, corporate governance, contracts, and compliance workstreams. Familiarity with estate planning concepts, including trusts, wills, and powers of attorney, is valued, because the organization's clients and business lines touch on these areas. The ideal candidate has a strong legal-support background and excels at organization, document management, and internal coordination. Key Responsibilities Assist in-house counsel with litigation support, including document organization, discovery logistics, filing and service coordination, and deadline tracking, in each case under attorney supervision. Maintain corporate records and entity files, organize contracts and related documentation, and track signature and renewal status. Organize and maintain legal files within the company's document management and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality. Support compliance by tracking licensing, registrations, and regulatory filing deadlines, and by maintaining compliance records. Identify opportunities to streamline internal legal-operations processes and improve file and workflow management. Qualifications Two or more years of legal assistant or paralegal experience. Estate planning, probate, corporate, litigation-support, or regulatory experience is preferred. Working familiarity with estate planning documents and concepts, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives, along with general legal terminology. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple matters and files at once. Proficiency with legal or matter-management software, secure document management systems, and standard productivity tools, including CRM and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. Paralegal certificate and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree. An Arizona Legal Paraprofessional (LP) license is preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and privileged information appropriately. Salary and Benefits Competitive salary, $60,000 to $75,000. Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
