Location:
San Diego, CA. This is a fully on-site position in downtown San Diego with free parking provided.
Note:
Candidates must have a paralegal certificate or equivalent qualification, 2+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience, and hands-on experience working with local San Diego courts. Job Description Support attorneys through all stages of civil litigation, from case opening through discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial Draft, prepare, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other legal documents Manage document productions and assist with drafting and responding to written discovery Review, organize, summarize, and maintain case documents and evidence Prepare deposition page and line summaries and organize materials for attorney review Maintain litigation calendars, court deadlines, hearing dates, and case schedules Coordinate depositions, hearings, meetings, and trials with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel Conduct factual investigations and gather relevant case information Prepare witness lists, exhibit lists, trial materials, and other litigation support documents Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files Qualifications 2+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience Paralegal certificate or equivalent qualification required Experience with San Diego courts and local filing procedures required Bachelor's degree preferred Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures, court rules, discovery, and filing requirements Excellent organization, proofreading, written communication, and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a litigation environment Why You Will Love Working Here You will be part of an experienced legal team where paralegals have meaningful involvement in active litigation rather than simply performing administrative work.
