Job Description

Our client, a well-established food manufacturing and food processing company, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join its in-house legal team in Gardena, California. This is an excellent opportunity to support a dynamic legal department with a broad range of litigation, contract, and corporate legal matters while partnering closely with business leaders and outside counsel.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where balancing multiple priorities is key.

ResponsibilitiesManage litigation matters by organizing case files, maintaining legal records, and ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date throughout each stage of the legal process.

Support attorneys with all phases of discovery, including gathering records, coordinating document production, tracking deadlines, and preparing materials for review.

Assist with trial and arbitration preparation by organizing exhibits, compiling evidence, preparing witness files, and assembling hearing and trial binders.

Maintain case management systems, monitor litigation calendars, court deadlines, filings, and other critical milestones to ensure timely case progression.

Draft, review, revise, and route contracts, amendments, NDAs, and other legal documents while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Conduct legal and factual research to support litigation strategy, contract interpretation, risk assessment, and ongoing legal matters.

Serve as a liaison between internal business partners, outside counsel, vendors, and third parties to facilitate efficient communication and timely resolution of legal issues.

Track action items, prioritize competing deadlines, and proactively manage projects to ensure legal matters move forward efficiently and in accordance with procedural requirements.

Support the legal department with a variety of corporate governance and operational legal initiatives as needed.
