Essential Duties & Responsibilities Legal Operations, including: organizing and tracking files, building/maintaining knowledge repository in SharePoint, developing and championing processes and procedures, and maintaining and managing the budget Corporate governance and compliance including formation and maintenance of corporations, LLC entities, and Trade Names/DBAs Contract management/administration support, including abstraction of contracts and leases Intellectual Property management/administration Legal research, reviewing documents, and calendaring of important dates and deadlines Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with either a reputable law firm, or as an in-house Paralegal (insurance, banking or other high volume customer facing industry preferred) Paralegal Certification preferred Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Proficient in SharePoint Proficient in legal research using Westlaw and Practical Law Familiarity with Legal Tracker or other matter management system is highly desirable Ability to maintain confidentiality A team player with customer focus Professional demeanor Preferred Skills Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in composing, typing and proofing materials, planning and organizing to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate and present at all levels, both internally and externally Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize work well in a fast paced environment Exhibits critical thinking, problem solving and analytical ability in order to gather and summarize data for reports and find solutions to various administrative problems Self-organizing and motivational skills with a bias to actions and results Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and retain information specific to the business domain Other Duties This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
