Job Description
Description A respected Orange County law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with experience supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. The successful candidate will assist with case management, discovery, trial preparation, court filings, and day-to-day litigation support in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities
+ Support attorneys through all phases of litigation from inception through trial
+ Draft, review, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
+ Prepare and file documents in California state and federal courts
+ Coordinate service of process and manage court filing deadlines
+ Manage case files, document production, and litigation databases
+ Conduct legal and factual research
+ Assist with discovery, including document review, collection, and production
+ Prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, and case summaries
+ Coordinate and prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness files, and hearing materials
+ Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
+ Maintain calendaring and ensure compliance with litigation deadlines Why This Opportunity

+ Convenient Irvine location Requirements Qualifications + 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
+ Paralegal certificate preferred
+ Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures
+ Experience with e-filing, discovery, and trial preparation
+ Familiarity with calendaring and litigation deadlines
+ Excellent legal writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
+ Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
