OPPORTUNITY
| Paralegal Our Pasadena, CA office seeks a well-rounded, highly-motivated, experienced Litigation Paralegal to support defense litigation. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle a variety of litigation support responsibilities including managing all phases of the discovery process in a forward-thinking firm, an expanding California office. Familiarity with case management software or legal billing systems is a must. The salary range for this position is $65K - $75K, commensurate with experience for 3 - 5 years. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved program is preferred but not required. SKILLS and
ABILITIES
The following represent the knowledge, skills , and abilities a successful candidate should possess or demonstrate to succeed under the supervision of associate(s) and/or partner(s): knowledge of electronic filing procedures in California state and federal courts in California; strong legal research and writing skills; working knowledge of docketing and calendaring deadlines; organize, prioritize, and implement urgent tasks with strong attention to detail; experience in drafting and responding to discovery; provide excellent written and verbal communication; remain self-directed, self-motivated , and effectively work under tight time constraints; ability to consistently create and deliver quality work products; experience with case management systems (e.g., iManage, Time Matters, Clio, etc.) proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint , and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro); demonstrated efficiency navigating the internet; and, a Paralegal Certificate is not required, but preferred.
