The firm handles a high volume of family-based and humanitarian immigration matters, including VAWA, T Visas, U Visas, adjustment of status, work authorization, advance parole and family petitions. We are looking for someone with strong immigration experience who can manage cases accurately, communicate confidently with clients and attorneys, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly organized environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong case-management skills and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality work for clients whose cases can have a significant impact on their lives. Responsibilities Review and prepare immigration applications and supporting documentation for filing with USCIS and other appropriate government agencies, including
VAWA/I-360, T
Visa, U Visa, I-485, I-130, I-765 and I-131 matters Communicate with clients regarding case preparation, required documentation and procedural updates Ensure clients are kept informed throughout the preparation and filing process Identify missing documents or information and follow up with clients promptly Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information within the firm's case management system Provide regular case-status and progress reports to management Assist attorneys with case preparation and act as a key point of communication between clients and attorneys Complete case preparation accurately and within assigned deadlines Prioritize workload effectively and communicate any case issues or delays to management Maintain complete electronic and, when required, physical client files Translate client documents between English and Spanish when necessary Assist with the supervision and quality control of production staff Qualifications Minimum 5 years of immigration law experience At least 1 year of direct experience handling humanitarian immigration matters, particularly VAWA and/or T Visa cases Bilingual English/Spanish required Strong understanding of immigration case preparation and filing procedures Immigration case-management experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational ability Excellent client-service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong team player with a professional and solutions-focused attitude Compensation Starting salary: approximately $67,000 annually , depending on experience.
