Job Description

Role Description We are seeking a Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join the Litigation Practice Group in our Orange County, California office. You will support our attorneys across all phases of litigation—from case intake through trial and appeal—with a practice concentrated in commercial and defense litigation in state and federal courts. Prior trial experience is strongly preferred. You will work directly with senior litigators, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and grow toward a senior paralegal role. The ideal candidate should have previous litigation experience assisting with trial preparation, filing and service of pleadings, organizing and compiling documents and other information, researching case-related files and source, and coordinating with attorneys, courts, and related parties. Respond to written discovery and assist with e-Discovery in state and federal court matters. Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and case documents. Support attorneys with preparation for arbitrations, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. Manage case files, documents, exhibits, evidence, calendars, deadlines, and court dates while maintaining well-organized files throughout the life of each matter. Coordinate with expert witnesses, clients, and court personnel, including scheduling, document exchange, and report preparation. Record billable time in accordance with firm billing procedures. What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal Experience drafting, cite-checking, and correcting legal briefs and other litigation documents Working knowledge of case management systems, document management software, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat Superb research, writing, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities, meet court deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team Interview Process Timeline Application Our team will review your application.
