In this role, you will provide vital support in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth case progression and exceptional client service. Duties Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing personal injury cases, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement documents Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies Manage case files efficiently using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and accessible Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for case development Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documentation to build strong case files Coordinate with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients to facilitate timely communication and case updates Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial by organizing exhibits, evidence, and witness statements Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion while maintaining compliance with procedural law requirements Support attorneys with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing deadlines, and drafting correspondence Requirements Proven experience as a paralegal supporting personal injury law cases or related civil litigation support Strong knowledge of procedural law, legal research techniques, and case management practices specific to personal injury law Proficiency in legal software such as PCLaw, iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and document review systems Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and interdepartmental coordination Experience with legal drafting, document management, data entry, filing procedures, and transcription services Familiarity with medical record review processes and insurance claim procedures is highly desirable Ability to handle confidential information professionally while demonstrating high ethical standards Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document creation and data analysis Knowledge of various areas of law including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, workers' compensation law, family law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, immigration law or landlord-tenant law is a plus but not required Join our team to leverage your legal support expertise in a fast-paced environment that values your contributions!
