Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy legal team in Wilmington, Delaware. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone with strong experience in civil litigation support, court filing procedures, and deadline coordination. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on intellectual property matters, including patent or trademark-related litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit court filings through electronic filing systems while ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines.
• Maintain litigation calendars by tracking hearings, filing dates, case milestones, and other time-sensitive obligations for the legal team.
• Coordinate and organize case documents, pleadings, correspondence, and supporting materials to keep files accurate and accessible.
• Assist attorneys with day-to-day litigation support, including drafting routine legal documents and assembling materials for case activity.
• Monitor civil litigation matters from intake through key procedural stages, helping ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
• Support intellectual property disputes by managing documents and filings related to patent and trademark litigation when applicable. Requirements
• Prior experience working as a Legal Assistant in a litigation-focused environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of electronic court filing procedures and court filing documentation.
• Solid understanding of civil litigation processes, terminology, and case support responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars and handle multiple deadlines with accuracy.
• Experience supporting intellectual property litigation is strongly preferred, particularly in patent-related matters.
• Familiarity with trademark matters and related legal documentation is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal setting.
