Annual Job Summary:
Seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal to support Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, manage case documentation and deadlines, and assist attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. Our client is seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal to support Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions. Gather, review, and organize client documentation. Draft and file motions, notices, and other court documents. Communicate with clients, trustees, and court staff. Maintain accurate client files and case management systems. Track case deadlines, filings, and developments. Assist attorneys with bankruptcy case preparation and administration.
Key Qualifications:
2+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience preferred. Knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy procedures. Strong understanding of federal bankruptcy rules and regulations. Experience with bankruptcy case preparation or case management software. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines. Spanish-language proficiency is a plus.
