Seeking a Senior Architectural Designer with 5+ years of multifamily residential experience, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and expertise in design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration, preferably with Florida experience. Senior Architectural Designer We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join a growing architectural team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with multifamily residential projects, excellent Revit skills, and the ability to take projects from design development through construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration. Key Responsibilities Lead conceptual and schematic design for multifamily residential projects. Develop design development and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD. Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and other consultants. Research and apply applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements. Coordinate responses to municipal plan-review comments and permitting requirements. Perform QA/QC reviews of drawings for accuracy, completeness, coordination, and constructability. Prepare markups, direct revisions, and ensure comments are properly addressed. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to develop effective design solutions. Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, observation reports, and project documentation. Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities with limited supervision. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architectural staff. Stay current with building codes, construction practices, materials, technology, and architectural software. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. 5+ years of professional architectural experience. Significant experience with multifamily residential projects. Experience taking projects through design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration. Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, zoning, and permitting processes. Strong consultant coordination and construction-document review skills. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining quality and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Florida multifamily projects and the Florida Building Code. Experience with Florida/local permitting processes. Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience mentoring junior architectural staff. Architectural licensure or active progress toward licensure is a plus.
