Full Job Description Foreclosure Paralegal Position Overview:
Our established Florida foreclosure law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foreclosure Legal Assistant to support our litigation team. Based in Deerfield Beach, this position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with competitive compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate will have prior foreclosure experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
Draft foreclosure-related pleadings and filings, including motions for clerk's default, court default, summary judgment, and final judgment of foreclosure. Prepare supporting documents such as affidavits of indebtedness, affidavits of military status, and other case-related filings. Coordinate and schedule hearings, mediations, trials, and other court proceedings. Electronically file pleadings and legal documents through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal. Maintain and update client systems, including BKFS and ADR, to ensure accurate case tracking. Submit documents to clients for review, approval, and execution. Perform SCRA and PACER searches at the appropriate stages of the foreclosure process. Monitor court dockets, track case activity, and assist attorneys with maintaining organized case files. Qualifications Previous experience working at a Florida foreclosure law firm is required. Working knowledge of the foreclosure process from initial filing through final judgment. Experience retrieving, reviewing, and monitoring court dockets. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other standard office applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
