We handle cases of Deportation Defense, Family Petitions, Citizenships, Waivers, Consular Process, Adjustment of Status, Cuban Adjustment Act, Defensive Asylum, Affirmative Asylums, Cancellation of Removals, Special Travel Permits, Humanitarian Paroles, Parole-in
  • place, Employment Authorizations, L1 Visas, O Visas, U Visas, T Visas, Fiancee Visas, TPS, DACA, Fiancee Visas, VAWA cases, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents
  • Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including affidavits, declarations, and briefs.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records of client information.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Answer the phones and follow up with clients.
  • Prepare and submit immigration forms and applications to government agencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of evidence for immigration hearings and court proceedings.
  • Keep calendar reminders updated.
  • Keep the case reminders on time.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal
  • Asylum drafting experience
  • Inadmissibility waivers experience
  • Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Knowledge in ECAS and Immigration court procedures.
  • knowledge in Docketwise is a plus.
  • Knowledge on USCIS online account.
