00 per hour About the Firm We are a fast-paced, client-focused law office in Ocala specializing in real estate, business transactions, and civil matters. This is a hands-on environment where each team member plays a key role. We are a single-attorney practice with direct involvement in every matter, offering exposure to highly customized legal work and meaningful client interaction. Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to support real estate transactions, business matters, and civil litigation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of legal work and can operate in a fast-moving environment. We may hire 1-2 paralegals, as we are open to candidates who may later transition back to school. Responsibilities Assist with real estate transactions, including document preparation and closing coordination Support business and corporate matters (entity formation, filings, agreements, etc.) Provide assistance with civil litigation (filings, case organization, deadlines) Draft and review legal documents with attention to detail Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are met Work closely with the attorney on customized legal matters Qualifications Experience in real estate, business law, or civil litigation (any combination considered) Paralegal certification, legal education, or relevant hands-on experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication and client service skills Must be reliable and self-motivated Notary Public (or willingness to obtain immediately)

  • 5:00 PM 1-hour lunch break Occasional after-hours or weekend interviews during hiring process Compensation & Benefits $20
  • 24 per hour (based on experience) Bonus potential (historically up to $10K
  • 15K annually based on performance)
Paid Time Off:
