  • Full-Time (In-Person) Carredeguas Law Firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Immigration Paralegal to assist attorneys in preparing and managing immigration cases.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, fluent in Spanish and English, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced legal environment.

Hourly Rate Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete immigration applications and petitions including family-based petitions, asylum, adjustment of status, waivers, TPS, VAWA, parole requests, and work permits
  • Draft support letters, affidavits, and legal forms with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collect, organize, and review client documentation to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and internal tracking systems
  • Maintain communication with clients to gather information, provide updates, and respond to case inquiries
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of filings before USCIS and EOIR
  • Monitor case progress and follow up on pending matters
  • Coordinate translations and certified documents as needed
Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience as a paralegal in immigration law
  • Proficient in preparing USCIS forms and organizing legal filings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Familiarity with case management systems and legal filing procedures
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet deadlines
  • Must be available to work in person at our Pemproke Pines office
Compensation:
Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
