A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

The Litigation Paralegal will serve as the main contact at the firm and support the Attorney. Must be professional and have excellent customer service skills.
MUST have:
3 years minimum experience as a litigation paralegal iManage experience Trial prep Experience E-filing with all courts and counties Bench and jury trial experience Perform general office functions, as needed Software skills necessary to provide services identified above Must have a Georgia notary High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment Ability to conform to shifting priorities, strong problem solving & prioritization skills The position requires related experience working in external relationship management Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Self-driven individual, ability to work with minimal direction If this is the @type of position you see yourself transitioning into, please email me at julie.gross@gogpac.com or call 605-705-6836.
