Legal Assistant - Personal Injury Georgia Legal Counsel is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our growing personal injury team.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, with a lunch break. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates well, stays organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will help support our attorneys and team throughout the personal injury process while providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Assist with personal injury case management from intake through settlement and litigation. Communicate with clients and provide updates regarding their cases. Request and follow up on medical records, medical bills, and other case-related documentation. Prepare and send Letters of Representation and other correspondence to insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties. Communicate with insurance adjusters and obtain claim information. Assist with preparing demand packages and organizing supporting documentation. Maintain accurate and organized electronic client files. Calendar important deadlines, appointments, and case-related events. Assist attorneys and paralegals with litigation-related tasks as needed. Answer phone calls and emails professionally and assist clients with questions. Perform general administrative duties and other tasks necessary to keep cases moving efficiently. Qualifications Prior experience in a law firm is preferred. Personal injury experience is strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional and compassionate when communicating with clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Experience with legal case management software is a plus. Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn and grow with the firm. Pay:

$14.00 - $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
