Job Description

Looking for an opportunity where your organization, communication, and attention to detail make a difference? We are seeking a Legal Assistant to provide administrative and case management support in a professional legal environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with documents and records, communicating with others, and managing multiple priorities.
Job Responsibilities :
  • Deliver legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, involved parties, and court officials.
  • Open, close, organize, and maintain case files.
  • Prepare and process legal documents and papers, including summonses, subpoenas, complaints, orders, motions, and pretrial agreements.
  • Prepare cases for hearings and assist with hearing-related activities and documentation.
  • Monitor assigned caseloads for compliance with court orders.
  • Retrieve, copy, organize, and distribute files and documents.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Receive and place telephone calls.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records.
  • Perform other administrative and professional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of office experience using computer software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks, files, and deadlines. Professional and dependable. Comfortable working with computers and various software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience working in a legal or professional office environment. Experience with legal documents, case files, court records, or compliance documentation. Pay:
$11.00 per hour
