Legal Assistant (107328) We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Legal Assistant for a temp-to-hire position with a local Law Office. This role is crucial in supporting their team with various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. There is an excellent long-term opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the legal industry. Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Location Kahului, Maui Pay $24 to $26 an hour Responsibilities Perform basic office and secretarial duties to support the legal team. Transcribe legal documents with high accuracy and attention to detail. Draft and edit legal documents and correspondence as required. Manage and organize case files and other important documents. Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars for attorneys. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails. Provide additional administrative support as needed. Qualifications Proficiency in transcription and document drafting/editing. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Minimum of two years of related office experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is an advantage. Competency in using office software and equipment.
