The firm focuses on Divorce, Parentage, Guardianships, Adoptions, DCFS and Juvenile cases and Order's of Protection. Attorneys are also appointed for mediations as well as Guardian Ad Litem cases. This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role based in Joliet, IL. The Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining the Court calendar, managing case files and the discovery process, and assisting with client communications. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence. Skilled in Document Review, with attention to detail for accuracy and consistency. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, courts, and external parties, both in writing and verbally. At least 3 years of relevant paralegal experience in a similar legal field. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple matters and deadlines. Proficiency with standard office software and legal practice tools (e.g., document management systems, e-filing platforms).
