Builtech is currently seeking a Paralegal ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and manage subcontracts and repeat client contracts in coordination with in-house counsel, project teams, and clients. Maintain contract trackers and coordinate with internal teams to ensure contracts are completed efficiently and in accordance with company processes and risk management protocols. Support project compliance by tracking and proactively managing deal sheet reviews, preliminary notices, bonds, licensing, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), vendor agreements, notices, delays, claims, disputes, and mechanics' liens. Assist in-house counsel with litigation matters, including maintaining calendars and dockets, reviewing documents, and compiling discovery materials. Manage state and municipal contractor licensing registrations and requirements. Maintain corporate entity records, including registrations, annual filings, and related documentation. Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve business processes and mitigate risk.
Qualifications:
Paralegal experience with sophisticated law firm or in-house legal department, ideally with a focus on construction law or a strong foundation in corporate or real estate law. Paralegal certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required; experience with AIA contracts software preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive work while maintaining attention to detail and high quality standards. Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items such as supplies or equipment. Valid driver's license.

Compensation:
