Job Description

Personal Injury Paralegal We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our plaintiff-side litigation team. The position requires at least 2+ years of direct personal injury paralegal experience , preferably representing injured plaintiffs. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys throughout the life of a case, assisting with case management, discovery, medical records, litigation preparation, and client communication. Responsibilities Manage and organize personal injury case files from intake through resolution Assist attorneys with all phases of pre-litigation and litigation Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, employment records, and other supporting documentation Prepare medical chronologies and case summaries Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and outstanding information Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties Assist with deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation Maintain litigation calendars and track court dates, discovery deadlines, and statutes of limitation Assist with settlement documentation and case resolution Provide general litigation and administrative support to attorneys as needed Qualifications 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience required Plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred Experience supporting attorneys in active litigation Knowledge of discovery procedures and litigation deadlines Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active matters Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients Comfortable working independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management/document-management systems Position This is an opportunity to work directly with experienced personal injury attorneys while taking an active role in cases from initial intake through settlement or trial. We are looking for someone who understands the demands of a plaintiff-side personal injury practice and can confidently manage the day-to-day responsibilities of an active caseload.
Experience Required:
2+ years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience
