Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various legal tasks. Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in managing legal cases and maintaining case files.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
• Draft and review legal documents.
• Utilize document management systems to organize and maintain electronic files.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Prepare materials for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, filing documents, and drafting emails.
• Assist with document review and analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal case management processes and procedures
• Familiarity with litigation process.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
