9.1.2026 Professional Staff Boston McCarter & English is seeking an Information Disclosure Statements Paralegal for our Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or a certificate from a professional/business/secretarial school, at least one year of IDS experience, an interest in assisting our legal professionals in a vibrant patent practice in our Boston office, and a desire to work hard and to learn. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience. If you have the appropriate experience, we invite you to consider joining our team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under general supervision, prepares and files Information Disclosure Statements and performs other IDS/Patent Prosecution related tasks and projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year(s) of IDS experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree SKILLS:
Comprehensive knowledge of preparation and filing of information disclosure statements Comprehensive working knowledge of most current USPTO rules and procedures Must be organized and detail oriented Must maintain electronic client files Knowledge of effective proofreading techniques Preparation of Section 18 charts Comprehensive knowledge of IPDAS and cpi Must work effectively and proactively in a team environment Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Benefits (if FTE requirements met):
