This opportunity is well suited for someone who wants to build experience in trusts and estates while supporting attorneys with document preparation, file organization, and client-related legal work. The role offers direct mentorship, a collaborative office environment, and the chance to grow into a long-term position with the firm.
Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys with matters related to trusts, estates, and wealth preservation by preparing files, organizing case materials, and tracking deadlines.
  • Draft, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and pleadings with close attention to accuracy and clear presentation.
  • Maintain case and matter records in case management systems to ensure documents, notes, and deadlines remain current and accessible.
  • Assist with discovery activities, trial preparation tasks, and litigation support when matters require broader legal coordination.
  • Communicate with attorneys, clients, and internal team members to gather information, schedule follow-ups, and keep work moving efficiently.
  • Review incoming materials for completeness and help assemble binders, exhibits, and supporting documentation for legal proceedings and client matters.
  • Conduct legal and factual research to support attorney requests and contribute to the preparation of matter-related documentation.
  • Adapt to evolving practice needs and provide administrative and paralegal support across related legal areas as priorities shift.
