Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

We are looking for a self motivated legal assistant/paralegal to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney. Mon-Thurs 9AM - 4PM w/ pd. Lunch, Potential hours on Friday if requested Responsibilities Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness Handle communication with attorneys, clients, witnesses etc. Locate and develop case relevant information Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence Answer and direct phone calls Maintain contact lists Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars Scheduling appointments Skills Computer literacy Working knowledge of case management software Excellent secretarial and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
