Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a prominent law firm. This role supports attorneys with document preparation, court filings, scheduling, and daily case coordination in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to keep multiple matters organized while meeting important deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Draft, edit, and finalize legal pleadings, letters, and other case-related documents with accuracy and consistent formatting.
  • Submit filings through state and federal electronic court systems while ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage attorney schedules by coordinating calendars, monitoring hearing dates, and tracking critical litigation deadlines.
  • Maintain orderly case files and supporting records to help the team stay prepared throughout all phases of litigation.
  • Assist with discovery activities and trial preparation by organizing materials, compiling documents, and coordinating logistics.
  • Serve as a detail-oriented point of contact for clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel regarding case-related communications.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys and the broader litigation team to promote efficient workflow.
