Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

- Post-Judgment About Holzman Law, PLLC For more than 40 years, Holzman Law, PLLC has provided exceptional counseling and legal services to state
- and federally regulated credit unions.
Minimum:
2 years of Legal Assistant experience & 1-2 years of collections law or legal collections experience preferred Knowledge of civil litigation and collections procedures preferred Familiarity with court filing systems and legal terminology. Experience with TrueFiling/MiFILE preferred Experience with CLS- Collection Master software is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines Ability to work accurately, meticulously, and productively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism Preferred Skills Experience handling garnishments, levies, and post-judgment enforcement actions Knowledge of skip tracing and asset investigation procedures Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively under pressure Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and procedures Work Environment Fast-paced, in-person legal office environment Open concept department Frequent interaction with attorneys, court personnel, clients, and third parties.
