We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join a well-established legal team supporting sophisticated estate planning matters for individuals and families. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients while managing complex estate planning and trust administration processes. What You'll Do Prepare and draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives Assist attorneys with advanced estate planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families Support trust funding, asset alignment, and post-execution implementation of estate plans Administer trusts by tracking assets, distributions, and maintaining accurate records Prepare and review documentation related to federal estate and gift tax matters Assist with estate and gift tax return preparation and supporting schedules Coordinate with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals throughout the planning and administration process Maintain organized client files and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Manage deadlines, filings, calendars, and trust administration timelines Conduct legal research related to estate planning, trusts, and tax laws Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal certification preferred 3+ years of experience in estate planning and/or trust administration Strong understanding of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives Experience supporting high-net-worth clients and complex estate planning structures Knowledge of federal estate tax and gift tax concepts and reporting requirements Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion Preferred Experience Experience with estate planning and trust administration software such as WealthCounsel and/or Interactive Legal Services (ILS) Knowledge of probate administration and court filing procedures Familiarity with Michigan estate planning laws and processes Why Consider This Opportunity?
