Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support enterprise legal and procurement work in Minnesota. This is a contract position focused on high-volume agreement support, contract document preparation, and lifecycle coordination within a large health insurance environment. The Paralegal should be highly organized individual who can manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and work closely with legal, sourcing, compliance, and business stakeholders. Candidates who have supported corporate contracting functions and can move work forward efficiently in a fast-paced setting will be well suited for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Examine agreements and supporting documents to confirm accuracy, completeness, and alignment with required business and legal standards.
  • Prepare contract-related materials such as amendments, notices, summaries, and standardized templates to support ongoing legal and procurement activity.
  • Contribute to contract remediation and repapering efforts by organizing updates and helping move legacy agreements toward current requirements.
  • Monitor approval progress, critical dates, renewal timelines, and contractual obligations to keep work on schedule and reduce risk.
  • Partner with attorneys, procurement professionals, sourcing teams, and internal stakeholders to facilitate contract processing and execution.
  • Maintain organized contract files and repository records within contract management tools to support auditability and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with intake, routing, execution, and administrative coordination across the full contract lifecycle.
  • Flag unusual clauses, missing provisions, or potential legal concerns for attorney review when agreements fall outside standard expectations.
  • Support reporting, documentation tracking, and other operational activities tied to enterprise contracting priorities.
