Responsibilities Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as Casenet and Mycase, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Conduct legal research utilizing LexisNexis and other research tools to support case development across various practice areas including securities law, tribal law, patent law, and workers' compensation law. Assist with drafting legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and reports with precision and clarity. Support case management activities by maintaining detailed files, tracking deadlines, and preparing case summaries for civil litigation support. Coordinate client interviews, gather relevant information through interviewing techniques, and communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates. Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette. Collaborate with attorneys on procedural law matters and assist in preparing for hearings or meetings by organizing materials and evidence. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while supporting multiple practice areas including estate planning, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, personal injury cases, and more. Qualifications- No experience needed, but a willingness to learn! Willingness to learn about processes of the office and legal case management systems such as Casenet, Mycase, and Lexis Nexis. Excellent research skills and openness to learn new software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with document review and word processing capabilities. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written communication skills for legal drafting, proofreading, and client correspondence. Experience handling confidential information with integrity while providing executive administrative support when needed.
