Full-Time Pay:
$15.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with case management, legal research, drafting, discovery, client communication, and administrative duties in a fast-paced law office. Experience in Personal Injury, Family Law, and/or Insurance Defense is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct legal research using resources such as LexisNexis and summarize findings for attorneys. Assist with drafting pleadings, correspondence, discovery responses, motions, and other legal documents. Manage and organize electronic and physical case files. Maintain accurate case information and deadlines in MyCase . Prepare and coordinate discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, and subpoenas. Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, depositions, and other litigation matters. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, witnesses, court personnel, and other parties. Monitor case deadlines, court dates, and appointments. Assist with scheduling and maintaining attorney calendars. Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed. Ensure all case-related documents and communications are properly documented and filed. Enter time accurately and timely into MyCase. Qualifications Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role preferred. Experience with MyCase or similar legal case-management software. Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures. Experience in Personal Injury, Family Law, and/or Insurance Defense preferred. Strong organizational and clerical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a legal team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook. Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
