Job Description Law Firm Carolinas is seeking a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant for its Greensboro office to support attorneys in the firm's active litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment where accuracy, client service, and critical deadlines are essential. This position is in-office, Monday through Friday. What You'll Do Manage attorney calendars, court dates, hearings, depositions, discovery deadlines, trial dates, and other critical litigation deadlines Electronically file (e-file) pleadings and other legal documents with state and federal courts Coordinate records requests, subpoenas, and collection of case-related documents and information Handle department intake calls, gather and document initial information, and route inquiries appropriately Communicate professionally with clients to gather information, provide routine updates, and assist with case documentation Organize and maintain electronic case files, legal documents, correspondence, and litigation materials Assist with hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, trial binders, evidence, and other case materials What We're Looking For 2-4 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant or in a similar litigation support role Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy Strong deadline-management skills with the ability to track and prioritize multiple court and litigation deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone, client contact, and intake communication Professional, dependable, resourceful, and able to work independently while supporting a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management and electronic court filing systems is a plus What We Offer Supportive and collaborative work environment Competitive salary commensurate with experience Full benefits package
