Summary A respected and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to support its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of civil litigation experience . Insurance defense experience and North Carolina paralegal certification are preferred. Responsibilities Review and draft pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents. Review, index, organize, and summarize records and documents. Prepare medical chronologies and medical billing spreadsheets. Electronically file pleadings and other documents in state and federal courts. Schedule hearings, depositions, and other case-related events. Maintain case databases, client records, and legal documents. Prepare trial and hearing binders. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts. Provide litigation support to attorneys throughout the life of a case. Qualifications 2-5 years of civil litigation paralegal experience. Insurance defense experience preferred. North Carolina paralegal certification preferred. Experience with e-Discovery and litigation support platforms preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
