Responsibilities Managing attorney calendars and tracking litigation deadlines under the North Carolina and federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Filing pleadings and documents through E-Filing Portal. Assisting with discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, and notices). Coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, inspections, expert examinations, and court appearances. Familiarity with North Carolina and federal court procedures and e-filing. Excellent project management skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to manage deadline-driven work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and follow-through skills (this role requires ownership of assigned tasks). Mindfulness and strong proofreading skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
