Job Description

Job Summary We are a small, established law firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a variety of legal practice areas, including litigation, real estate, probate law, and personal injury. Your proactive approach will help streamline case management processes, conduct thorough legal research, and assist with document preparation and review. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and legal expertise will make a meaningful impact. All roles are paid positions that contribute directly to our mission of delivering exceptional legal support. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources to support case development across multiple practice areas. Review and organize legal documents for discovery, litigation, or transactional purposes; perform detailed document review to identify pertinent information. Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information to facilitate case assessments and strategy development. Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and supporting executive administrative functions as needed. Provide support in litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents Assist with real estate transactions, including document preparation and closing coordination Handle probate matters, including filings and client communication Maintain case files, manage deadlines, and ensure timely filings Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and third parties Qualifications Proven experience with a strong understanding of diverse legal practice areas including estate planning, probate, Real Estate, personal injury law, and litigation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; ability to proofread meticulously. Experience in conducting interviews and gathering pertinent case information effectively. Exceptional communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette; ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
