Small NJ elder law firm seeking a college-educated Legal Assistant to answer client calls and help prepare Will and Medicaid planning documents. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness Handle communication with clients Type and file basic legal documents and correspondence Prepare mailings to court Prepare documents for client's signature Answer and direct phone calls Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars Skills Bachelor's degree Computer literacy; Proficiency in Word, Excel and drafting of letters Excellent organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple activities Strong phone/written communication skills detail oriented discreet with sensitive information.
