Job description: Legal Assistant - Pre-Litigation Personal Injury We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of pre-litigation personal injury experience to join our growing law firm. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, client-focused, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload while supporting attorneys throughout the pre-litigation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement. Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and attorneys. Request, review, and organize medical records, bills, police reports, and other case documentation. Prepare demand packages and assist with settlement negotiations. Maintain case files, track deadlines, and update case management systems. Schedule appointments, client meetings, and follow-up communications. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with firm procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of pre-litigation personal injury experience required. Strong understanding of personal injury claims, insurance processes, and medical records. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. This role is ideal for a proactive legal professional who enjoys working directly with clients and helping drive cases toward successful resolution before litigation.
