Job Description

About the Position We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our growing law firm in Wayne, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters while providing outstanding client service. This is an in-person position offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients in a collaborative, professional environment. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Drafting estate planning documents, including: Last Wills and Testaments Revocable and Irrevocable Trust Agreements Durable Powers of Attorney Advance Medical Directives Deeds and related real estate documents Managing new client intake and maintaining client files Coordinating and scheduling document signing appointments Preparing documents for execution and ensuring all signatures and notarizations are completed properly Communicating with clients throughout the estate planning process Providing administrative and legal support to attorneys Maintaining accurate case files and calendars Assisting with other office and client service responsibilities as needed
Qualifications Required:
Previous experience as an estate planning paralegal Strong knowledge of estate planning documents and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Professional and client-focused demeanor Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including:
Word Outlook Teams Excel Preferred:
Experience using Clio case management software Experience with estate planning software such as InterActive Legal Familiarity with New York and/or Florida estate planning Notary Public commission (or willingness to obtain one) What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
