This person will manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from file opening through closing, working closely with buyers, sellers, attorneys, lenders, and real estate agents to keep every transaction organized and moving forward. Responsibilities Open, process, and manage title and escrow files from the initial order through closing. Order and review title searches, surveys, payoffs, municipal searches, tax information, and HOA documents. Review title commitments and identify outstanding requirements, liens, judgments, and other title issues. Work with attorneys and underwriters to clear title issues before closing. Prepare and review closing documents, settlement statements, title commitments, and title policies. Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers. Review contracts, loan documents, and lender instructions for accuracy and completeness. Track outstanding items and follow up consistently to keep transactions on schedule. Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions, escrow activity, and communications. Ensure files comply with applicable regulations, underwriting guidelines, and company procedures. Respond to questions, provide regular updates, and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Support other team members when needed and contribute to a smooth, positive office environment. Deliver the high level of communication and customer service Everett Title is known for. Qualifications Previous title processing, escrow, real estate paralegal, or closing experience preferred. Strong understanding of real estate transactions, contracts, title documents, and loan packages. Familiarity with title searches, commitments, policies, settlement statements, and escrow procedures. Knowledge of title-clearing requirements and underwriting processes. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple files, priorities, and closing deadlines. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Proficient in data entry, email, and general office technology. A dependable, positive attitude and a genuine team-player mentality. Ability to work independently while also supporting and collaborating with the entire team.
