Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our plaintiff personal injury and medical malpractice legal team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the law to contribute to our success.Duties:
Heavy client contact and must manage competing demands Must be able to answer incomings calls, update the case management system, and simultaneously process tasks assigned, respond to emails etc Review of large medical record files Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings Manage and maintain legal case files, including organizing documents, correspondence, and other relevant materials Utilize legal case management software (e.g., iManage) to track case progress and deadlines Provide general clerical support to the legal team as neededSkills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Proficient in data entry and computer literacyJob Type:
