Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Paralegal who is fluent in Punjabi or Hindi to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal practice areas, immigration law, family law, civil litigation, and more. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and paralegal support for team Manage case files and documents using document management system Docketwise; ensure accurate filing, indexing, and retrieval of legal documents Draft legal documents including intakes and correspondence with precision and clarity Conduct client interviews in Punjabi or Hindi to gather pertinent information while maintaining professional communication standards Support litigation processes through document review, case management, and procedural law compliance Coordinate with attorneys on project management tasks to ensure timely completion of case milestones Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion at all times Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients Assist in preparing for court appearances by organizing exhibits and supporting materials Support the team with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings Experience Prior paralegal experience or legal support experience in a busy law office environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of practice areas including immigration law, family law, civil litigation support, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, and general & commercial litigation. Proficiency in legal research tools Familiarity with legal case management software Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proven experience handling confidential information responsibly while maintaining accuracy in document review and drafting. Exceptional writing skills for preparing clear legal documents and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in Punjabi or Hindi to serve diverse client needs seamlessly. Knowledge of procedural laws and familiarity with court filing procedures are advantageous.
