Job Description

We are a prominent Hudson Valley-based law firm seeking to hire a Full-Time Legal/Case Assistant for our Newburgh office. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and case support to our legal team and must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicating professionally with clients, attorneys, and other employees Inputting and maintaining accurate information in our case management system Data entry and ongoing review of case information for accuracy and completeness Uploading, organizing, indexing, and filing photos and videos associated with cases Preparing, processing, and filing non-video case-related documents Handling time-sensitive documents and ensuring deadlines are met Maintaining organized electronic case files and records Assisting with additional administrative duties as assigned by the department supervisor
Qualifications:
Professional, client-service-oriented demeanor Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under deadlines Ability to manage multiple assignments throughout the day A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; previous relevant administrative experience in a law firm is strongly preferred.
